Another Tom Douglas restaurant, Etta’s is a nice romantically lit venue near Pike Place market in Seattle featuring fabulous Pacific Northwest food. They have a simple yet elegant menu mostly comprised of  seafood and local produce. A generous and engaging staff serves dishes and appetizers from bacon clam chowder to steamed muscle appetizers, butternut squash ravioli and fresh bakery bread.
I ordered the Alaskan ling cod served with butter browned squash, mushrooms and other veggies. It was ultimately superb. Everything had such flavor, moist and juicy, tasted as though it was nearly dripping with smooth buttery flavor, yet being fish and vegetables it was still a nice light dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed ever bite of this dish, not to mention the bread and butter we ordered on the side. We also had the squash soup and a mussels appetizer which were both deliciously prepared. In conclusion, the entirety of my experience at Etta’s was positive. The waiters and cooks were generous and delightful, and the food was thoughtfully and nicely prepared.
